After our adventures at Fornells
and a night at anchor in Cala Taulera there were a few windy days forecasted so
decided we would gain some shelter and have easy access to provisions on the
floating pontoon. But another small
problem arose to test our patience; the dingy got punctured as it thrown around
from the wash of a glass bottom boat! Mark then spent hours patching it up but
luckily Alex & Carol were able to run us ashore in their dingy. The fixing of
the dingy was not quite as straight forward as we had hoped and we were soon
looking for somewhere to get it mended L.
We were treated to another lovely
dinner by Carol & Alex and spent our time making sure we were up to date
with other boat jobs, with no laundrette in Mahon it is amazing how much time you can
spend hand washing! A double duvet set is quite a challenge!
Life was still pretty quiet in Mahon with few tourists,
the occasional cruise ship; I think the sailing boat below looks like a nice
way to cruise.
