To get a change of scenery we had
nice upwind bash east along the coast of Antigua,
as we battled into the swell we all held on tight and were on the look out for
the occasional turtle and swarms of flying fish. We had already had a great start to the day
whilst leaving English harbour when 2 dolphins popped up less than 10 feet from
the boat to say good morning J
To get into Nonsuch we had our
first real experience of navigating through the coral, which was thankfully a
success, always slightly concerning when you see a yacht wrecked on the reef.
We spent a couple of days on a
buoy (& it was free) tucked in behind the reef, so the wind howled and the
kite surfers used the boat as target practice but the sea was calm and we had
some greet snorkelling.

Very peaceful and pretty, just
what we were hoping for in the Caribbean,
lucky us J
Shame we could only stop for a few days as we needed to get back to English Harbour to make it easier to get Dan & Abbie back to the airport.

Mark, Dan & Abbie just before we set sail |
We had a lovely downwind sail back
to English Harbour, quick and easy and we all
relaxed in the sunshine.
