We are Mark and Amanda Barr, we are from Port Solent, Portsmouth England.
We sailed away from home in May 2011 and headed south in our 36ft Wauquiez Centurion, Magnum. We spent 2 seasons in the western Med and then headed out across the Atlantic to the Caribbean, From there we headed north to avoid the 2013 hurricane season and are currently enjoying some time on the Eastern seaboard of the USA.
Magnum is a Wauquiez Centurion 36. She was designed by Ed Dubois and was the last of 34 yachts of this type off the production line in 1994. We have spent the last 5 years sailing around the English Channel and in May 2011 we are heading off to warmer climates. You can follow our adventures below....
